According to the most current data available, 25.8 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes. The California Association for Nurse Practitioners is partnering with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) on an important initiative to ensure you have reliable resources that support evidence-based medicine on diabetes. AHRQ’s free Effective Health Care Program resources help your patients explore treatment options for diabetes, compare the benefits and risks of each, and prepare to discuss them with you.
