CANP chapter leaders from across the state gather during our Leadership Summit, which connects chapter leaders, the CANP Board of Directors, and staff to foster an exchange of ideas and information while also developing leadership skills. The event is free of charge and up to two leaders (as designated by the chapter president) from each chapter are encouraged to attend.
Chapter leaders from throughout the state will participate in a full-day program designed to provide a better understanding of the characteristics of an exemplary leader, examine their own leadership style and characteristics, and understand the importance of effective communications in leadership.
Please check back here for updates as plans unfold for future Leadership Summits. For more information, please contact Events & Education Director Erin Meyer.

The California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP) provides a forum and unifying voice for more than 30,000 nurse practitioners statewide, often joining forces with other state and national organizations, to advance the profession and bridge health care needs. As the only association solely dedicated to advocating for nurse practitioners in California, we work to protect and expand the critical roles filled by NPs. As a conduit of information, we foster the dissemination of ideas, advice and standards of practice.
