CANP offers numerous different membership types designed to fit you or your organization.
This membership is offered to active NPs in California.
This membership is offered to nurse practitioners who have graduated within the past 12 months students. To qualify for this discounted rate, First Year Graduate Member applicants must provide a diploma or transcript showing a graduation date no more than one year prior to the join date. This membership is good for one year only.
Student Membership is offered to nurse practitioner students enrolled in a United States Department of Education, Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education approved program. Student membership is limited to the duration of the student's enrollment in a suitable nurse practitioner program or until NP licensure. School and graduation date must be provided.
Associate Membership is offered to those who no longer hold an active RN license in California but wish to maintain membership. This includes out-of-state or retired NPs.
Senior Membership is offered to NPs 65 and older who reside in California and hold an active RN license.
Corporate Membership may be granted to educational institutions, non-profit entities, and other business or membership organizations that serve nursing, nurse practitioner, advanced practice nursing, or other related health care providers. Corporate Membership may be also granted to pharmaceutical, medical devices, and other company representatives who wish to engage and market to the California nurse practitioner community.
