Featured Practice Question

How do I deal with a contract that refers to me as a "physician ender"?

I am sorry to see that you are encountering this unfortunate terminology. It is an outdated term developed for a physician-centric view of health care. You should call the company and discuss why this term needs to be removed from their legal documents. It is offensive and also inaccurate. NPs are independently licensed and not dependent on a physician to be licensed.

Featured Legal Question

I recently connected with a site in order to find me a CP so I can open my own practice. The fees they quoted me are $500 to find me a physician, and $760/month to cover services. Is this standard?

These are not unreasonable charges. Be sure the physician lives in CA.
