2025 Conference Highlights

The largest gathering of nurse practitioners (NPs) on the West Coast took place at the breathtaking Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa, near Palm Springs. NPs and health care professionals convened to learn, exchange ideas, and explore the latest products and services in our field.

Dr. Bernadette Melnyk, PhD, APRN-CNP, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN joined the 2025 conference as the Annual Educational Keynote Speaker.  Renowned both nationally and internationally, Dr. Melnyk has a distinguished career as a leader in nursing and health care innovation.  She is one of very few women and nurses elected to the Institute of Medicine – one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine.

CANP’s Annual Conference offers extensive opportunities for NPs to meet, collaborate and learn from fellow colleagues.  From seasoned professionals to those up and coming in the profession there’s a place for everyone to learn and network.  The 2025 Conference welcomed the association’s first Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, longtime NP leader and former CANP President, Melanie Balestra.
