California NP programs are increasingly offering the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree as the preferred entry-to-practice degree for the profession. At the same time, several universities are phasing out their NP master’s degree programs. The move aims to encourage students to pursue the DNP. Are worries that the cost and duration of DNP programs is prohibitive to potential applicants founded?

I am trying to expand my practice to do more procedures, and the physicians I work with would like to see what our scope is in writing. What do you recommend? Can I practice with a nursing corporation doing telehealth as a 103 NP with a collaborating physician and still qualify for a 104 NP status?
