Plan to join fellow chapter leaders from across California for a day of collaboration, networking, and leadership development. 

This year's Summit will bring together CANP chapter leaders, the CANP Board of Directors, staff, and Lynn Cunningham, for an engaging and interactive day focused on strengthening our chapters and advancing our shared mission. The day will begin with a continental breakfast at 9:00 a.m., followed by the program, which begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. 

Throughout the day, participants will: 

• Engage in interactive discussions about the business of CANP. 
• Collaborate in facilitated roundtable sessions focused on: 
  • Membership 
  • Leadership & Governance 
  • Advocacy & Government Relations 
  • Communications 
  • Education & Professional Development 
• Exchange ideas, share successes and challenges, and learn best practices from chapter leaders across the state. 
• Help develop recommendations that will strengthen chapters and support future growth. 

The Leadership Summit will be held at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing on the UC Davis Sacramento campus.  

• Each chapter may register up to two leaders at no cost. This includes all travel and hotel (*all expenses must align with CANP Policy, Section 9.3) 
• Chapters may register up to two additional leaders for $50 per person. 
• All attendees must be approved by their Chapter President. 

For those staying the night, the hotel is located on the UC Davis campus, a short walk from the meeting spaces. Free parking is included when you book a hotel room. The available dates for the hotel: Friday, September 11, 2026, to Sunday, September 13, 2026. Registrants will receive a link to book a room at a reduced rate via email confirmation. For those driving in, parking will be available for $10 all day in the lot behind the nursing school building. Details will be sent following registration.
